ABOVE: REVENGE OF THE TRITON: A drawing by Tom of Finland illustrating a scene from the AMG film where Triton (played by John Krivos) throws the fisherboy (Bob Rozzi) over a cliff, because he is angry that the fisherboy has caught his playmate the Sea-Sprite in a net and has attempted to convert him to the ways of the world. PRICES FOR THE FILM: 16mm $16 (250 ft). 8mm $11 (125 ft). (Price for copies of the drawing: $2 for 8x10s-will later be available as part of a series of 4x5 Tom prints.) Still photos from Triton are illustrated on page 26 of WB13. (15 cents). Triton was filmed partly in Mexico and partly at Pales Verdes Califomia. The picture is far from perfect and we should have liked to have had about three times as long to work on it as we did, but our budget just didnt permit it. We wont burden you with a description of how our car broke down in the wild mountains of Mexico 50 miles from civilization, how General Pontiac (the name we temporarily gave to Clyde Ralls (the sea-sprite in the film) sat on the hood of the car directing us out of the ruts in the cowpaths euphemistically called roads in the area we traversed. And how the boy we took along to handle the reflectors, carry equipment etc when not high on Bennies, had to go off and study his French lessons instead of helping with the picture. We could go on and on-but suffice it to say the whole thing was a nightmare, and we hope the results were warth it.
ABOVE: "I WAS A 'TEEN-AGE BUM" Again artist Tom of Finland has captured the essence of our film, better than any still photograph could possibly portray. You will recall that this film was reviewed in the Vol 8 3 issue of Physique Pictorial. Joe Leitel is a young tramp who attempts to steal part of the lunch from the saddlebag of a cycle belonging to a sailor and a cyclist who are in swimming, and when they discover him they punish him by forcing him to take a bath, be shaved etc. Regenerated, he makes a stunning impressien and is accepted by the swimmers who then allow him to join in their repast. PRICES OF THE FILM: 16mm $16. 8mm $8. Stills are illustrated on pages 20, 21, and 22 of XV13 (45c). Price of 8x10 print of this drawing: $2 but why not buy an extra copy of this book and cut out the drawing and frame it (at a cost of only 43 cents by 1st class sealed mail). Order films from AMG 1834 West 11th Street Los Angeles 6, Califomia. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO 8 MM MOVIE OWNERS.
